When you use the Eligibility Checker, you voluntarily provide personal information including: province/territory, age range, employment status, household income range, citizenship/residency status, household composition, housing situation, and other situational details.
This information is used solely to generate personalized grant and benefit matches. We do not collect your name, email address, SIN, or any government identification.
We never collect your name, Social Insurance Number, date of birth, banking information, government ID, or email address through normal use of this tool.
The information you enter into the Eligibility Checker is sent to the Anthropic API (operated by Anthropic PBC, a U.S.-based company) to generate AI-powered eligibility results. By using this tool, you consent to your answers being processed by Anthropic's AI systems. Anthropic's privacy policy governs that processing: anthropic.com/privacy.
Your profile answers may be saved locally on your device using localStorage — this data stays in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or using the "Delete" button in the Profiles manager.
GrantWatch Canada displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and other third-party ad networks to help fund the operation of this free tool.
